Earning his reputation primarily playing drum set, Jordan Auber established himself in the NYC scene. Honing his skills at The Collective School of Music (NYC), Jordan pursued studies in a variety of styles, ultimately focusing on jazz and contemporary music under the tutelage of Ian Froman & Peter Retzlaff. Versatility is a key part of his curriculum.

In 2017 Jordan launched his solo project, Color of Rhythm. After which, handpan became a large part of his compositional style. The project now functions majoritively as a trio comprised of handpan, drum set, and electric bass.

Over the course of his 5 years in New York, he has performed in many scenes. Aside from his solo work with organizations such as Daybreaker and Modo Yoga, using handpan for sound-healing, Jordan has played drum kit with multiple groups spanning jazz, rock, hip-hop, R&B, pop, funk, & blues.
